It's the end of an era at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Ryan Field will be razed and rebuilt in time for the 2024 football season. The cost will be $800 million and improve the almost century-old football stadium to a state-of-the-art venue for the Chicago suburb school. Here is a look back at the stadium during its final season as I take in a baseball game. Also featured are Rocky Miller baseball stadium and the Welsh-Ryan Arena.
