If you've ever hit "pause" on our videos to scope out the aftermarket upgrades on Caleb's AR-15s, you know he really likes ambidextrous safety selectors. Today, he shows us the BAD-ASS PRO safety selector from our friends at Battle Arms. No, we're not using potty-mouth! That's the acronym for "Battle Arms Development Ambi Safety Selector". Like previous Battle Arms AR-15 selectors, one of the PRO's big benefits is the levers are separate from the selector body that goes inside the receiver, AND those levers are interchangeable. You can swap 'em around: long lever on the strong side, short lever on the off-side, long levers on both sides, etc. - whatever works for you. The BAD-ASS PRO dispenses with the separate screws of the earlier BA selectors and uses a different method of attaching the levers to the selector body. Caleb gives us a demo. Bonus: the BAD-ASS PRO can be set up with either a standard 90º throw or a 45º short throw. A spring and detent are included because.... who wants to hunt down and recycle the old ones? It all comes in ONE package, and it's EASY to install!
