DISCLAIMER: I am COMPLETELY new to 3D modeling, only been doing it for (a small part of) a day. But what a blast! In this video I show you an example project I set up, which makes getting started a two-step operation for Calva users: 1. Clone your fork. 2. Start it in Calva (a.k.a. Jack-in).

The software stack here is Java, the clojure tool, scad-clj and OpenSCAD. scad-clj is a wrapper/transpiler from Clojure to scad. It makes it super easy to compose in 3D space, and OpenSCAD shows you the results in an incredibly easy to use viewer.
While recording this the recording software acted up and my computer completely froze for minutes now and then. I've edited most of that away in the most crude manner. You'll probably notice. And you will notice that it throws me out of balance so I ramble and search for words more than usual. Sorry about that! I don't have the time to rerecord it right now.
