Soleil: Hi, I'm Soleil Moon Frye, host of Home Made Simple and here is an easy and affordable way to turn any surface into a dry erase surface... We're gonna have some fun here. Are you ready?
Chappale: Yeah, I'm ready to learn something else. Let's do it.
Soleil: So, first of all, w e have this beautiful photograph, which your wife took in Africa, on safari.
Chappale: Yeah, yeah...
Soleil: Wonderful! So we printed it into this cool to-do list...
Chappale: Which is very cool.
Soleil: Okay, now, you are not gonna believe your eyes here, okay... Because we are gonna turn this into a dry erase surface.
Chappale: Okay, show me how!
Soleil: So, here is clear contact paper. You can do so many cool things with this. You can make shapes, you can do so much cool stuff. You can turn them into stickers with the kids. It's really fun. You can get it at most hardware stores and we are going to take it with our to-do list and measure it out... Okay, so we've got our lines over here—we're gonna cut about an inch on the outside to leave a little space.
Chappale: This is gonna be removable, so if I wanted to do it downstairs on the kitchen—uh—the dining room table, I could do it there as well then?
Soleil: Totally.
Chappale: Awesome, awesome.
Soleil: Okay, so now, we have our clear contact paper, right? And we're just gonna peel it off.
Chappale: Oh, really.
Soleil: Now, you're just gonna lay it on... You're done! Look at you! You're like, faster than me.
Chappale: I—love—you... Awesome.
Soleil: Great! Okay, and here we have our dry erase boards.
Chappale: Awesome. Awesome. And now, just for fun, I'm gonna wipe it off and it is—it's clean as new. Awesome.
