This shipping container home was inspired by ‘Container of Hope’ but has been extended in all directions using 3 x 40’ and 1 x 20’ containers.

An additional 20’ container was also used for storage during construction and is now as a man-cave separate to the main dwelling.

The construction is believed to be the first of its kind in South East Thailand.

The project was created as a family home and consists of 1 bedroom, 1 on-suite bathroom, 1 WC, kitchen, office and large living / dining area, It also boast 2 decks and a roof terrace.

The containers were purchased and cut at Maha Containers in Bangkok and transported to the site where the majority of construction was carried out.

Additional walls were built, walls and ceilings were insulated, floors laid, and windows and doors fitted.

This home was designed and built to meet the unique needs of the owners. Construction costs around 2M Baht.
