So it was a last-minute idea but I booked a hotel and grabbed a flight from the UK and flew to Poland for the altrace event. I didn’t know if it was gonna be worth it but when I got there it was one of the busiest, craziest car shows I’ve ever been to … the quality of cars  rivals anything I’ve ever seen. Poland definitely know how to put on a car show and how to build cars.

There was everything slammed to the ground like a Lamborghini Aventador to Ferraris to Porsches even a Citroen CV. But one of my favourite cars of the show was a classic Mercedes 300 SL gullwing. Every car you can ever imagine was slammed to the ground on air ride with wheels tucked right into the arches but every single car was finished to such a high standard I wouldn’t want to be a judge and have to pick the top 10 and give out awards.

 I flew out late on the Saturday and was ready for the show on Sunday but didn’t realise the show didn’t open till 12 o’clock midday and I had to leave for the airport at 4 o’clock so it only gave me four hours to look around the show, but all being well I’ll definitely be back next year as there’s too much to see in a short day so I’ll definitely be back for the full weekend next year.
