When I was little and watched Winx for the first time I hated Diaspro though for some reason I didn't feel like I could blame her for trying to disrupt Sky's relationship with Bloom. It was obvious that she was Bloom's rival in love and also the villainess of Bloom's love story however now I can also pity her for being engaged with Sky in the first place. I mean Sky is the-hero-type-of-guy, the one who wants to help everyone and who everyone admires and pretty much worship. And anyone who has dated a "hero" before would know that type of guy is most often indecisive. We all know how Sky is and that's why he fits with Bloom. The world revolves around the hero and the heroine and they always gets what they want in the end. But what about Diaspro? She was engaged with Sky for a very long time and they might have even gotten along with each other before Bloom turned up. Diaspro might have not loved Sky and neither did he love her. However Diaspro obviously had pride in the fact that he was her fiancée and he crushed that pride and not just that. He also crushed her dignity as a woman and princess when he went behind her back and started loving Bloom. In other words the princess lost to a peasant. But the peasant turned out to be a princess how ironic.
Am I the only one who have heard this type of story before many many times. I mean just read the otome-game villainess reborn novels or something. It has the same theme as Bloom's love story.
