We harvest Russian River Valley Chardonnay grapes in the coldest hours of the night to preserve crisp acids, ideal sugar levels and fresh fruit flavors. Grape season usually begins in early September for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes in Sonoma County and continues into October for late-ripening grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon.
