I love my Starflight ultralight! This video is or me TRYING to get it to do more than a mild mushing stall. The wing on the Starflight has significant washout of about 5 degrees from the middle rib to the outboard rib. That leaves the wingtips flying when the middle of the wing is fully stalled and the plane is loosing about 150 feet per minute (fpm) in altitude. Even when you do fairly hard turns to the right or left the wing just keeps flying. This really is a great design for someone like me who returned to flying just a year ago. The video was shot about 5 miles west of the Scribner airbase.
