“Jane the Virgin” star Gina Rodriguez got an early start in performing at age 7, dancing with a local salsa company in her hometown of Chicago. She went on to enroll at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts before spending several years acting in theater, television and independent films. In 2015, she won best actress at the Golden Globes for her lead role in ‘Jane the Virgin.’
Gina exudes a natural warmth that finds its way into her hosting style, which she describes as “present, open and comfortable.” Drawing from her heritage and family traditions, the focus of many of her celebrations is the kitchen.
