China is in a state of emergency! Dongting lake embankment collapse, drowns Hunan city

A dyke breach in China’s No 2 freshwater lake Dongting in Huarong County, central China's Hunan Province, sparks emergency evacuation.

Nearly 6,000 people in the affected county of Huarong have been evacuated, according to state news agency Xinhua.

A large amount of lake water has overflowed from the gap with a fast flow rate, according to the government of Tuanzhou Township, Huarong County under Yueyang City.
