Solo Wild Camp on an 1868ft high ledge in the Lake District during a heatwave with 4K Drone Footage
I head to the Lake District Park during the heatwave conditions which the UK is currently experiencing. A gruelling ascent in 31 degree heat with full pack, it was certainly a welcome feeling to reach the summit and then find my camp spot for the night; in this case - a small ledge perched 1868ft high. Just enough room to pitch the Scarp 1 and enjoy a fantastic evening on the fells. The Perseids meteor shower is currently showing and it was really nice to sit and watch them from the vestibule.
4K drone footage, a few craft beers and of course some tales from the tent feature in this video and I hope you enjoy it.
Look after yourselves and see you on the next adventure, Chris.
