My CPU Water cooler's pump died, and my god is it dangerous if these water pumps cut out. This piece of shit was only 14 months old when it carked it... This thing is supposed to be rated at 100,000 hours mean time before failure, but it feels like this was only around 2,000 hours before it shat itself.
Anyway the basic tell tales signs are that things will get HOT, so (especially your radiator and CPU temps), so if you have a water cooler and your computer shuts down unexpectedly then try check the temps and see how hot your radiator is, if it is extremely hot and the clocks aren't even that high (as was the case here), then you most likely have a dead water cooler. I also tried replugging the fan pins and repowering it but it doesn't work, dead....
The Intel Stock HSF will be going on back for now. I will probably be testing it in the next few days lol to answer a few questions of how hard can the Intel Stock HSF go? Also this might answer the questions of "what happens when my cpu water cooler dies?" Or "how to tell if your cpu water cooler is dying?"
