Sample of lesson from McGill Music Sax School
The Big Band style of saxophone playing is really cool. It requires a very strong tone and great control with your embochure. And, there are some wonderful melodies in the classic big band repertoire. In this saxophone lesson you'll learn how to play "Moonlight Serenade" as recorded by Glen Miller and his orchestra. Although the main melody line is played by clarinet, this lesson covers how to play the top melody line all the way through including the legendary clarinet solo in the middle!
