Base your prices off off the hourly living wage in your country, take it times the amount of time you need to complete your work. Keep your target audience in mind, you want to attract customers who are in the market to pay for custom art.

3. Limit what you offer
Instead of offering everything, try to focus your offers on a selection of few curated options. Give the customer easy decisions to make. They are probably moving from table to table, so keep it easy for them to decide wether they want some art or not.

4. Stage Element
Your canvas is your stage, your character is inhabiting this space. Insert a stage element other than the character in order to create interesting and unique compositions, even when working in an unusual environment.

Keep this element simple and easy to reproduce. You want your life to be easier, not harder.

5. Stay organised (in your paperwork)
Keep track of your sales, inventory and commissions. Make sure to have easy to read notes and have them available at any time.
