A baby faced 16-year-old Leo auditioning for one of his earliest auditions. The role of Ponyboy in Francis Ford Coppola's tv series The Outsiders.
Unfortunately, Leo didn't get the role in Coppola's tv version of his 1983 film of the same name. However, Leo did end up getting offered a small bit-part in the 90 minute pilot episode which aired March 25th, 1990.
