Through his music, pianist and composer Alexis Ffrench expresses innocence, light and hope. Described by Classic FM as "beautifully simple music" and "the perfect antidote to a stressful afternoon", his evocative, soaring melodies and luscious harmonies provide the listener with a moment for reflection.

In partnership with the Royal Albert Hall, Alexis filmed this video on the famous big red hand built Yamaha S6 Grand Piano in the Elgar Room; the only piano of its kind in the UK, originally played by Sir Elton John.

Ffrench says: "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas is such a beautiful song. I think the craft in the song is so compelling, and it reminds me of great black & white movies that I used to watch as a child and feel nostalgic about now. I think there’s a warmth and simplicity and honesty, and one can’t help but feel a connection to the song."
