I show my tips for quick and easy macro photography in this tutorial, using my Canon R5 and 100mm macro lens hand held for fast shots when time is short. I'm not using a tripod and I'm not using lighting, but I still manage to find some creative shots on a short walk around Edinburgh with some great beginner or advanced techniques for those days when you want to stay creative but don't have a whole weekend to spend taking photos.

I discuss the settings I use for bright, sharp photos and the composition tricks I use to try and turn boring photos into something more exciting.
