What does The Real Real sell? TRR sells luxury designer goods : women’s, men’s and kids’ fashion, fine jewelry, watches, fine art and home décor.

Why I consign with the realreal.com: It was originally to make money selling my designer clothes and accessories I no longer used as well as to save money buying new pieces. Now it's also about supporting sustainable fashion and making eco-conscious choices. I'm not a eco-warrior but trying to create a balance between when to buy new or fast fashion and when to consign, recycle and not be wasteful.

What's the consignor commission rate? It varies hugely from 40-85% based on many different factors.

How to consign: Either print a free shipping label, drop off or schedule a free pick up. PRO SELLING TIP: Make sure to have an agreement in place where they have to let you know what the price they want to list it for before they list it and that you have to agree to that price before they have permission to list it. If you don't agree to the price, have them send it back to you.
