Welcome to the modern-day Misogi, a physical and mental challenge day in Destin, Florida. There's a certain type of leader that believes in the value of doing hard things. That challenge experiences
sharpen mindset build resilience and help people to go beyond the limits of possibility. This idea isn't new, and many people liken it to the ancient Japanese ritual called the Misogi. This ancient tradition involves going into cold water as a spiritual cleansing with the idea to wash away anything that can limit one's growth or potential.
The modern-day Mogi is about learning, growth, and transformational moments that come from embracing physical and mental challenges. There's both an art and a science in creating the perfect challenge experience, and when it all comes together it makes for the perfect Corporate Retreat.
"The physical aspect of everything has been really nice. A lot of times you go to these talks and you hear words and you take notes and things like that, but being able to actually take action on things while you're physically moving around helps them set in a little more." "We've had a ton of fun and it's been a great time." "I've never been to a company Retreat where you hold your breath for as long as you can, and I also didn't think I could hold my breath for two and a half minutes, so that was pretty cool."
"I've also really enjoyed it I think the the thing that I thought I was going to find hard I found a bit easier, and the thing I thought I was going to find easier I found a bit harder but good learning. It was great!"
"Everything went very smoothly the day of. There was a lot of work that went on behind the scenes. They (the Grand Dynamics team) were very attentive they made sure that people felt comfortable they were well briefed. They made sure the day kept moving. This certainly isn't something
we could not have done on our own. We needed that expertise and that guidance to make sure we were doing it efficiently and safely. We were right hands."
