Welcome back to our playthrough of Geometry Dash. We beat Hyper Paracosm and Hyper Paradox, my thoughts on the levels are below:
Hyper Paracosm:
I actually found this quite fun. While I don't think this is a good level, I found it actually quite enjoyable. My main problem with the level is all the spikes on the walls of the corridors, which are quite annoying, and made a lot of parts extremely difficult. The predrop was difficult, but still very consistent. The beginning of the wave was very fun, up until the spam at 24%. This spam was a pain due to the random scattering of sawblades. 27-40 is extremely hard, and not consistent at all. The 30% spam specifically was very hard because of all the sawblades and spikes throughout. Past 40%, the wave was very consistent, and quite fun as well. I really liked the ending. It is very long, taking up nearly 40% of the level, but I didn't find that a problem. I think the ending of this level is one of the coolest in any Nine Circles level. The ball corridor especially is extremely cool and iconic, and I absolutely love it. There are some hard parts in it, but it isn't too bad. Overall, not the best level, but one I enjoyed a lot, and if you really want to go for it I would recommend to do so.
Hyper Paradox:
This level is awful. While more balanced and consistent than Paracosm, it's way less fun. It changed a lot of gameplay, especially in the second half of the wave, which I felt was the better part. I thought this gameplay was worse than the original gameplay in Paracosm. All this level really needed to do was fix the 30% spam, remove some of the spikes on the corridors, and balance the level a bit. Instead, it changed way too much gameplay, made some parts absolutely stupid, like making the 37% dual wave misaligned. There are also a ton of bad transitions in the ending, like 81%. I also hate the fact that the ball corridor in the ending was so different. I think that is the coolest part of Hyper Paracosm, and was one of the most consistent, so I was really disappointed
when that changed. The fact that the last triple spike moves to the right is also annoying, as it makes it more difficult for no reason. Overall, not a good level, one that I would not recommend at all.
