A recorded message by Stanley Tookie Williams was played at his own funeral after he was executed by the State of California in 2005 for 4 murders he was convicted of committing in 1979. He was sentenced to death in 1981, and lived on San Quentin's death row for 24 years.
His funeral was in South Los Angeles, not far from where he grew up.
