In the divorce agreement between Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict, the couple prioritized the well-being of their two children.
Cree, 11, and Cairo, 4, the actors' son and daughter, will be in shared legal care. Radar Online has received court documents stating that neither parent, nor either parent's friends or family, may speak "in a negative, disrespectful, or derogatory manner" about the other parent in front of the children.
According to the same source, Mowry would be keeping the family home in Studio City, California despite the couple's recent divorce. Neither spousal nor child support payments are due from the Sister, Sister star to Hardrict.
Legal documents obtained by People state that each parent must wait at least six months after beginning an exclusive connection with a new romantic partner before introducing the children to that person.
In addition, until six months into a new exclusive relationship, the exes forbade each other from hosting overnight sleepovers with their new relationships in their houses while their children were there.
It was highlighted in the divorce agreement that "the parties agree that the restraints set forth in this paragraph are in the best interest of the children."
In October of 2022, the Family Reunion star filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason. On Instagram, Mowry wrote, "These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness."
As we co-parent our lovely children, we will do so as friends," the actress said. I appreciate all the joy we shared and appreciate the love and support of my friends, family, and fans as we embark on this next phase of our life together.
After 15 years of marriage, Mowry and the All American: Homecoming actor divorced. While still separated, they celebrated their wedding anniversary in April.
Since the announcement of their split, the exes have kept up a cordial social media presence. Things between them, despite their separation, should stay amicable for the sake of their children.
