Very little is known about #LongCOVID. Amy, 27, has been experiencing ongoing breathing problems after having COVID-19 several months ago. Four research studies will improve the understanding of the causes, symptoms and treatment of the longer term effects of COVID-19 in people who have not become unwell enough to be admitted to hospital. Almost £20 million is being given to the research studies that will hunt for causes and identify possible therapies for those suffering from chronic symptoms.
