Matthew 28: 18-20 explains to us what the most important mission of the church is. To go a make disciples! Matthew 28:18-20 is quoted very often when people are talking about how to grow their church congregation and church attendance. Although church attendance is important for a struggling church, the focus needs to always be on what our real mission is, (Matthew 28:18-20) "Go and make disciples of all the nations." The mission of the church is to bring the word of the Lord to others, to those who really need to hear it! Church growth and increased church attendance is just a result of obeying Jesus' commands. It should not be the only reason for carrying out our mission. If your worried about how to improve and grow your church, focus on the mission, (Matthew 28:18-20) "Go and make disciples of all the nations" and your church will be blessed and grow for obeying the Lord!
