STORYLINE:
Dozens of retired Chilean military officers and former members of the security forces gathered on Saturday at a park in Santiago to commemorate the death of one of General Augusto Pinochet closest aides.
General Carol Urzua was Chilean capital's superintendent when he was killed on August 30, 1983 by the MIR (Left Revolutionary Movement).
The meeting was held the same day Spanish judge Baltasar Garzon, who drew international attention when he ordered the 1998 arrest in London of Pinochet, received an emotional welcome in Santiago from relatives of missing dissidents.
