Protein in the urea or proteinuria is a disease in which a patient loses a greater amount of protein in the urine. When a patient is suffering from kidney disease then foamy or frothy urine is a common problem.

Protein loss in a kidney failure patient can be controlled by controlling the main cause of the disease which are :
1. Hypertension
2. Diabetes
3. IgA nephropathy

When nephron becomes unable to filter the protein inside the body, the protein gets excreted through urine. This can be controlled by controlling the causes of kidney failure.

It becomes very important for a patient to control the levels of creatinine, potassium, and urea. The root cause of the kidney failure needs to be managed to stop the protein loss in urine. Levels of potassium, creatinine, and urea can be controlled by diet as diet plays a very important role in any person's life.
