Paneer pieces cooked in tomato masala with fresh fenugreek leaves.
METHI TAMATAR PANEER
Ingredients
250 grams fresh fenugreek leaves
4 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
200 grams Milky Mist cottage cheese (paneer), cut into ½-inch cubes
1tablespoon oil
2 medium onions, finely chopped
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic-green chilli paste
1 tablespoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon dried mango powder
Method
1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
2. Roughly chop fenugreek leaves.
3. Add onions to the oil and sauté till lightly browned.
4. Add ginger-garlic-green chilli paste and sauté further for half a minute. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder and chopped fenugreek leaves and mix well. Add salt, dried mango powder and tomatoes and mix well.
5. Add cottage cheese and mix well. Cover and cook till the fenugreek is done.
6. Serve hot.
