Important Note: If you want to dive deep, this is NOT the video for you. I just got the subwoofer functioning at a "level" I would personally consider acceptable and adequate. Many of the features provided by the SVS App require the use of software like Room EQ Wizard. Some of you may find it amazing that I could go on for 42 minutes and not dive very deep. I did touch on the feature that I thought mattered the most, that being the Low Pass Filter. If you do opt to take advantage of the powerful features provided, it appears you will need to purchase a measurement microphone with accompanied calibration files. Room EQ Wizard is free, although I'm sure there are other options, that seems to be the one most recommended.
BASIC VIDEO CONTENT. Started with unboxing the SVS SB-1000 Pro Subwoofer. Then I ran through the SVS app "real quick", except it wasn't very quick. Spent some time demonstrating what this sub sounds like, albeit it's kind of hard to expect that out of a recording or a microphone. The audio from this video should give you an idea if you have decent speakers yourself, or a pair of headphones. Hope this helps. It's a great subwoofer, based on my listening experience so far.
Maybe I'll include timestamps later.
Thanks for listening.
