Here is your guide on How to clean yellow perch, fast and easy and with no waste at all. Using a bear paw electric fish scaler.
First of all, I take the fish out of the cooler then I lay them down on the board.
I turn on my bear paw electric fish scaler and scale them very fast.
The bear paw scaler does the work so fast and easy, and it doesn’t rip up your fish apart. Then, I use some scissors to cut down there belly all the way up to the mouth and open them up.
Next, I grab my finger and grab the guts out in one full motion. This way I keep the full fish and I don’t lose no meat. This is called hogging a fish.
Last, I rinse the fish out really good to vacuum seal them until it’s time to eat them.
