Munich (or München in German) is the capital of Bavaria in Germany. Munich has approximately 1.5 million citizens. The city centre is build in the style of Neo-Classicism and inspired by Hellenism. Bayern has a close connection to Greece as the Parthenon has been rebuild in Munich with the statue of Athena. Moreover, the first king of the Hellenic Republic was king Otto from Bavaria.
