Considering staying at a cabin in Mammoth Hot Springs for your family vacation? Do it! These cabins are awesome! YES, you do have to walk to a communal bathhouse, but you're in Yellowstone, not staying at the Ritz! It's part of the experience.

This cabin has tons of room, and easily accommodated our family of five very comfortably. No TV, and bad internet is part of the allure. Being forced to unplug is sometimes the only way we will do it anymore, so embrace it! Once you do, you'll probably keep coming back, over and over, like we have!

We've stayed in the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel as well as the cabins, and for my money, I'd stay in the cabins every time. The hotel is nice...but it's just that...a standard hotel. If I'm going to Yellowstone, I want the full "rustic" experience!
