Italy's right-wing National Alliance Party held a demonstration in
Rome Saturday (2/12), calling for early elections and to protest
against 1996 budget, under discussion in parliament. Attending
the rally, which gathered in Rome's Esedra Square, was the
National Alliance leader, Gianfranco Fini. After some time, the
rally moved down the Via Cavour. Fini was to address the rally
later.
