On Tuesday, May 8, US President Donald Trump announced his decision to withdraw from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, otherwise known as the Iran nuclear deal. However, Iran wishes to remain in the deal, and signals from European signatories indicate they wish to also continue with the JCPOA. So, what does this now mean for the Middle East?
