In 1946 Finn Juhl designed the 46 Armchair. Subsequently he also designed a slightly more minimalistic version without armrests for Bovirke in 1947 - which is now simply known as the 46 Chair because it originates from the 46 Armchair. Both chairs represent the very best of Danish Modern furniture design. Crafted from a solid wooden frame in oak or walnut, combined with a seat and backrest upholstered in textile or leather. The chair is also available with armrests.
