A video about American Cheetahs: [ Ссылка ]
For all the grand changes that might happen on a seed world, many species would still resemble their ancestors. On planet Apollo, many cattle live on the prairie as herbivores. But some have taken up new niches, filling the roles their predators held back on Earth. And thus, a predator-prey arms race begins.
This is part of my seedworld series, Project Apollo. Seed worlds are planets that were 'seeded' with earth lifeforms, that are then left to evolve independent of earth in this new context. This can result in extreme diversification, reminiscent of Darwin's Finches, mammals post K-T Extinction Impact, or when vertebrates first came onto land. Serina, a natural history of the world of birds by Sheather888/Dylan Bajda and Tales of Kaimere by Keenan Taylor are two examples of popular seedworlds.
I was planning on this video being more about herbivores and the various bizarre forms they might take, but it evolved into featuring Apollo's carnivores as well. I suppose, with a seeded species already specialized for herbivory, it might take a mass extinction clearing out some space for herbivores to experiment with new bodyplans.

I haven't been very motivated lately, especially on speculative evolution. But, after watching Monstergarden ([ Ссылка ]) I'm inspired to post some videos on a worldbuilding project of mine. We'll see.
