Moglai Porota Recipe
Serving Size: 4
Ingredients:
Dough
2 Cups All Purpose Flour
¼ Tsp Salt
2 Tbsp Cooking Oil
¾ Cup Water
Filling
3 Pcs Eggs
¼ Tsp Salt
¼ Cup Red Onion
3 Tbsp Fresh Coriander
2 Pcs Green Chili
1 Tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
Instructions:
In a glass bowl, add flour, salt, cooking oil and gradually add water as you gently knead the dough using your hand or machine
Use a rolling pin to create 4 square shapes until 2/3 standard paper size and set aside
For the filling, crack open 3 eggs in a bowl, pinch of salt, add red onion, fresh coriander, green chili, roasted cumin powder and give it a quick mix then evenly distribute the raw mix onto the 4 dough sheets
To create multiple thin layers, fold the dough sheets until it’s medium size in square shape
Fry in medium-high heat until golden brown then cut into small squares
Serve warm with a side of sweet chili sauce or plain yogurt
