Following weeks of spring training rehearsals, Phantom Regiment headed home to Rockford, Illinois, Thursday, June 22, 2023, for their annual outdoor community concert at Sinnissippi Park. Anticipation among corps members for the start of the 2023 Drum Corps International Tour is high. "You can just see in their eyes every time they perform this show, whether it's on the field for show or just during rehearsal doing reps," Regiment drum major Keri McCourt said. "You can see in their eyes how much we love this show, how much it means to us, and how much we want the world to love us."
