Is LEBANON street food really that good? 24 HOURS lebanese food tour in Beirut!! Finally we've made it to lebanon a country which is famous for its exquisite beauty, diversity, glamor and hospitable people. Lebanese cuisine is incredibly rich, unique, delicious and known for its high nutritious value. Today we will be touring around lebanon showing you what lebanon culinary scene has to offer and why it should be on you list if you found yourself in lebanon.
Will start our breakfast at El Soussi, an old and a traditional Lebanese breakfast that was selected as one of the The World's Best Breakfast by CNN. The restaurant's first location in Downtown Beirut opened in 1890.
No trip to Beirut is complete without a stop at Al Antabli. Lebanese traditional desserts and fresh fruit juices opened since 1936. With all my travel around the world i have never found a similar fruit cocktail to Antabli, it is truly heavenless, you simply have to try it!!!
Eating those delicious shawarma's after a long day is something everyone should try, at least once in their lifetime. You can easily eat two or three of those to make you full, but I don't see that as a problem, since you can try a variety of choices. The beef one has all the juicy goodness thanks to the tarator sauce and the soujouk which is not really known around the world is packed with flavors and can't be missed. Guess which one of those 3 is the best?
Ichkhanian located in the heart of Beirut since 1964, is known for their lahme beajine. The menu is straight forward, exactly what you need. Perfect balance between the meat and super thin dough it is simply perfection. Definitely one of the best place to feed your crave for the best Lahm Bi Ajin.
Great food are not always found in the heart of the country and nex to tourist destination.
We drove to jounieh to try a Falafel sandwich we ended having lunch for an hour and talking about different ways eating falafel. i'm still craving those fabulous falafel.
Sometimes simple sandwich can be outstanding. AL maida kept its quality and consistency throughout the years. Most famed for its chicken sandwich and farrouj 3al Fa7em, their other sandwiches are also super tasty. A definite must try while in the area!
We can't end the day without having a authentic lebanese lunch. We were driving from my grandmother house and randomly we chose Le royaume located in Roumiyeh with a fabulous vue.
The weather in this area is wonderful, quite and refreshing. Today we won't be eating the lebanese known dishes, we will try a selection of unusual dishes and share our experience with you.
Finally on our last stop the best place in Lebanon for authentic desserts truly heaven on earth, Al hallab established 1881, in one of the most historic towns of #Lebanon, Tripoli. The experience from start to finish is one to remember..
