Before Contra, there were various games I imagine, but after Contra, came Gryzor. Gryzor is as it happens, the same as Contra, just with a name change. It was the name provided for 8 bit ports of Konami's arcade classic in European regions. To that end, Commodore 64, MSX, Spectrum and indeed, Amstrad owners should be familiar with Gryzor, and how it compares to Contra. For CPC owners, Gryzor is a real treat for the senses and really shows what the 8 bit machine is capable of.
