A CBC News team recently got rare access inside Windsor Castle — essentially royal history’s head office.
It’s the world’s largest and oldest continually occupied castle in the world. It’s been home to British monarchs for 1,000 years.
But as Queen Elizabeth prepares to mark 70 years on the throne, we wanted to get a closer look at some of the Canadian treasures hiding within the walls, to learn more about the complex relationship between Canada and the Queen.
