Aluva: The real accused in the Varappuzha house attack case surrendered before the Aluva Judicial Magitsrate Court on Saturday. The accused deceived the police and surrendered before the court. The accused clarified that the deceased Sreejith was not in the gang that attacked Vasudevan's house. Sajith, Bipin and Thulasidas are the accused who surrendered in the court today. Thulasidas is also known as Sreejith. The court has remanded the accused. Police arrested Sreejith mistaking him for Thulasidas. Subsequently, Sreejith died due to alleged police torture. The special investigation team that probed the custodial death of Sreejith had found that Sreejith's arrest was a case of mistaken identtiy.
