In this presentation, Section O. Special Treatments, Procedures, and Programs will be discussed as it is introduced in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI) 4.0 and Long-Term Care Hospital CARE Data Set (LCDS) 5.0. A focus on data sources, intent, coding instructions, and definitions to promote accurate coding will be explored.
