When your church live-streams their services on platforms like YouTube and Facebook, you might have received a copyright claim. When you don't understand what's going on, it can be really frustrating. So in this video, we share a basic understanding of the copyright system on YouTube and solutions to common problems churches face when they live-stream and use copyrighted music.
Something mentioned in this video is the use of royalty-free music. This music still has a copyright—someone still owns it—but the terms of use allows you to use it however you'd like in your videos without getting a copyright claim.
