Deputy Chief Justice and Chairperson of the Inquiry into State Capture, Raymond Zondo has expressed shock about corruption reports around Personal Protective Equipment, while the country is still investigating allegation into state capture. The Commission heard evidence from former ANC MP and chair of the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Correctional Services, Vincent Smith. Smith disputed claims by former Bosasa COO, Angelo Agrizzi.
Last year Agrizzi told the commission that Smith was on Bosasa's payroll. He alleged that Smith had received a R100 000 monthly payment from the company. Ntlantla Kgathlane filed this report.
