Restaurant owners and workers in Brussels are calling for an end to the coronavirus lockdown as their industry continues to suffer.
Rallying in front of the Atomium monument on Monday, they banged pots and pans while letting off flares.
Restaurateur Alfio Morina and his colleagues attended the protest dressed up like prisoners and demanded the reopening of restaurants.
"We've been in prison for a year now. That's why we are dressed up like this. We are calling out this injustice today," said Morina.
Night club owners are also suffering financially because they have to close at 10:00 pm, just when business normally starts.
The slow speed of the vaccine roll-out is wearing down business owners who are eager to reopen.
