Quick stimulus check update, many people are reporting that when they log onto the irs.gov website, the get my payment tool is showing payment status unavailable or has the wrong bank account or direct deposit information listed.
If you log onto to [ Ссылка ] and see payment status unavailable you will need to wait until you file your 2020 taxes and get your $600 stimulus payment as a credit on your taxes. Though they say they update their site daily as of today, January 5th, they state if you still see that message that is how you will need to get your $600 stimulus payment.
It is too late to change your bank account information but if they try to deposit your check and it bounces back, you will be mailed a check or a visa debit card instead and if you don't get it that way, you can claim it as a credit on your 2020 taxes.
If you are able to log on to irs.gov and can access get my payment but you see the wrong account number listed for your bank account it may mean that you used H&R Block or Turbo Tax to file your taxes, they may load it onto your Turbo Visa debit card or your H&R Block Emerald Card.

you might get a debit card from the IRS even if that was not how you got your first stimulus payment so please check your mail carefully. Stimulus debit cards will be issued in a while envelope, the card is a blue visa debit card issued by Meta Bank.
