Is whole fruit better than a smoothie? A team of researchers wanted to examine whether there was a difference in blood glucose response when consuming whole fruit compared to the same fruit blended into a smoothie.
Surprisingly, the findings reveal that the glycemic response is better in the smoothie version, contrary to expectations.
