Welcome to my channel where I take on the thrilling challenge of making the fastest Razor MX125! In this DIY project, I'll show you step-by-step how to upgrade your Razor MX125 electric dirt bike to reach an impressive top speed of 20 mph. Hold on tight as we push the boundaries of speed and performance, achieving jaw-dropping wheelies that will leave your kids breathless. Get ready for an adrenaline-packed adventure with our Scary Fast Razor MX125!
This bike goes 20 mph with 165 lb rider. It would probably go 25mph with my 60 pound daughter on the bike, but she’s too afraid to max it out.
I have more parts ordered to make this bike even faster. Longer chain so I can hook up both motors simultaneously. Larger motor sprocket to increase top speed. I can make it faster, but not sure if anyone would dare to max out this little bike. It gets scary when these small tires are spinning that fast.
The 24V motor I purchased was priced very low and worked well for this budget build. It was rated at 3000rpm which is similar to the RPM’s on higher voltage motors. If it burns out from me pushing 40V, I will replace it with a larger voltage motor.
Here is a larger 36V motor with the same mounting bracket. It should hold up better than the 24v motor.

Update: The bike is still working great after many uses. Batteries last well over 1 hour of riding before needing a charge. Best upgrade for your RAZOR.
