The 58-year-old Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has once again topped a Forbes magazine′s rich list... with an estimated net worth of some $81-billion-dollars.
That makes it the 21st year that the philanthropist has come in first in the magazine′s 400 richest people in America list.
Forbes said Gates added $9 billion-dollars to his net worth this past year... in part, thanks to a growth in his Microsoft shares... as well as other investment.
Forbes added the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has given away some $30 billion since 2000... supporting efforts to eliminate smallpox and overhaul the American educational system.
Earlier this month... the foundation pledged $50 million-dollars to fight the Ebola epidemic in West Africa... the single largest donation the foundation has ever pledged to a humanitarian cause.
